FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Philadelphia, PA – December 12, 2018: Elite Roofing USA
Elite Roofing USA of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, has received the most prestigious contractor award GAF offers: The GAF President’s Club Award. This highly coveted award recognizes Elite Roofing USA as one of the “elite of the elite” commercial roofing contractors in the United States.
GAF is North America’s largest roofing manufacturer, and only GAF Master Select(TM) Contractors can compete for its commercial President’s Club Award. To qualify for this award, a commercial roofing contractor must meet specific criteria in at least one out of three different pathways:
Performance pathway – where contractors focus on giving their property owners the best possible service, quality, and protection
Reliability pathway – where the contractor has a long history of offering their customers the best quality and protection
Service pathway – where contractors consistently offer their customers the best protection available in the marketplace.
To become a Master Select(TM) Contractor–a status that less than 1% of roofing contractors nationwide are able to achieve–a candidate must demonstrate proper licensing (in states that require it), maintain insurance, have a proven reputation, and show commitment to ongoing professional training.
“We value our certified contractors for raising the industry standard year after year by installing the best roofing products and systems. Our President’s Club award recognizes only those contractors who have distinguished themselves by the highest standards of excellence, customer satisfaction, and dependability,” says Jim Slauson, GAF’s VP of Certified Program & Services.
In short period of time, Elite Roofing USA has reached the point where it no longer needs to engage in conventional advertising; word of mouth brings in a constant stream of customers. The company continues to expand; business is growing, but not only locally. Elite’s installers are called out for roofing jobs across the country, to places like Key West, Florida, Colorado, and Texas–which are fair distances from Philadelphia. According to Paul Cooper, president of Elite Roofing, “When a potential customer asks ‘Can you come do a roofing job for us?’ we answer ‘Yes.’ “
The greatest quality that Elite brings to the job is integrity. “We have a fair and honest approach to the job,” says Cooper, “to perform responsibly and to the highest quality. Every job has problems that arise, but we fix those problems, no matter how big or small they are. We take a no-nonsense approach to getting the job done.”
In addition to its work on TPO, PVC and EPDM roofing systems, the company installs GAF solar roofing systems in New York, New Jersey, Delaware, and Maryland. It also installs commercial gutters and downspouts and offers repair and emergency services.
Elite Roofing USA has received several professional certifications from GAF. The Asphaltic Certification indicates that the contractor specializes in installing asphaltic roofing systems, and the Single-Ply Certification indicates a specialization in installing single-ply roofing systems. With the Topcoat Certification, Elite Roofing USA is recognized for specializing in the installation of GAF’s TOPCOAT(R) products–liquid-applied roofing restoration systems formulated to stand up to the harshest of roof conditions and provide energy savings at a fraction of the cost of a new roof. Elite Roofing USA is rated A+ by the Better Business Bureau.
Reiterating the company’s commitment, Cooper says, “Suppose, in the course of an installation, there is a need for additional lumber that wasn’t specified in the original contract. Our competitors might tack on a few hundred dollars to an invoice to cover that, but we would be embarrassed to do so. Integrity is a quality that is representative of our company.” Elite Roofing USA foresees a continued expansion of business and an increased customer base going forward. “We’re growing,” says Cooper, “like a snowball rolling down a hill. And our experience and skill level provide customers with the quality and workmanship that they expect.”
