GLOUCESTER, MA – JO Social Branding has won the 2018 MarCom Gold Award for their entry in the Digital Media Email Campaign category. The MarCom Awards is an international creative competition for marketing and communication professionals. This year’s submissions included over 6,000 entries in 300 categories submitted from throughout the world.
JO Social Branding created an email campaign for their client to better serve their audience of elementary, middle and high school educators nationwide. The winning email campaign titled, “National Education Program Virtual Summer School” consisted of a series of six educational emails that explained various aspects of the organization and easily helped educators adopt the program into their curriculum. The campaign had an 83 percent average open rate and 62 percent click through rate. The emails were so well received that the client’s customers are asking how they can collect continuing education credits. In response, the client has added a professional development component to the program that would be available throughout the year.
“I am thrilled to see this email marketing auto responder series be so well received. What started out as an idea on a drawing board, was quickly adopted, implemented and generated amazing results,” shares Jeannine O’Neil, Owner and CEO of JO Social Branding. “In addition to hitting our goals it was exciting to see the program take on a new life that will continue to serve the audience and my client’s business.”
MarCom is one of the oldest, largest and most prestigious creative competitions in the world. The MarCom Awards recognizes outstanding achievement by creative professionals involved in the concept, direction, design and production of marketing and communication materials and programs. Entries come from corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, design shops, production companies and freelancers.
Judges are industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry. A list of Platinum and Gold Winners can be found on the MarCom Awards website at www.marcomawards.com.
