Pamela Rachil discusses the benefits of mobile and manufactured homes and working with a licensed mobile home broker.
Listen to the interview on the Business Innovators Radio Network:
A mobile home brokerage has sales agents who help people buy and sell used manufactured and mobile homes. Pamela explains the difference between Mobile Home Sales Agents and Realtors and how her agents are held to the highest standard in the state of FL. She also explains that according to HUD, a factory-built home prior to June 15, 1976, is called a mobile home, and one built after June 15, 1976, is called a manufactured home; however, the names are currently used interchangeably. The majority of mobile homes on the market today are actually manufactured homes that adhere to a safer and stricter building code.
Pamela shares how Mobile/Manufactured Homes have become increasingly popular as an alternative to traditional real estate. Whether the market is up, down, or sideways, the demand for these homes in Florida remains consistent. A large majority of manufactured home buyers are retirees and snowbirds seeking to be part of a resort-like community without all the maintenance and costs of owning a “brick and stick” home.
Client William Coughenour says: “When my wife came to Ocala to find our retirement home, knowing that I couldn’t be there to help with finding the right house. The games that other agents played made her very disheartened, ready to give up and go back home. When she met Pam and realized that Pam was not going to play games, she helped her every step of the process even though we were 1300 miles away. We are now enjoying the house, weather, and friends we made. Thank You Pam.”
